Jon’s career has been built around helping people move forward with confidence, whether through financial advice, property decisions, or leadership. With a strong foundation in banking and financial services, he joined the Realty Group’s mortgage broking operation in 2003 as an Adviser before quickly progressing into senior leadership roles, including GM and CEO, as that business expanded nationally.

Jon brought this commercial insight and people-first approach to Bayleys in 2020, where he established himself as a trusted real estate professional before stepping back into leadership. His ability to connect strategy with on-the-ground delivery saw him appointed Residential Sales Manager, followed by a successful tenure as General Manager for the Bay of Plenty, supporting the growth and alignment of the region’s Residential, Rural, Commercial, and Property Management teams.

Today, as Residential Sales and Projects Manager for the Bay of Plenty, Jon focuses on driving performance across residential sales and project marketing, while ensuring clients benefit from the depth of experience, collaboration, and market intelligence that Bayleys is known for.

Passionate about developing high-performing teams, Jon is motivated by creating a positive culture where people feel supported, accountable, and inspired to deliver exceptional results. His leadership style is grounded in clear communication, strong relationships, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their property goals with confidence.

Originally from Auckland’s North Shore, and later Wellington, Jon studied at Massey University before travelling and working overseas. He and his wife now call Tauranga home, where they have raised their two sons. Outside of work, Jon enjoys time on the golf course, following sport, cooking, music, and making the most of the Bay of Plenty lifestyle.
